Numerology Reading: Understanding the Power of Numbers
Numerology is the study of the significance and symbolism of numbers, and it has been used for centuries to gain insight into a person’s personality, strengths, and weaknesses, as well as to predict future events and opportunities. A numerology reading is a personalized interpretation of the numbers associated with a person’s life, including their birthdate and the letters in their name, and can provide valuable insight into their path in life and their potential for success and fulfillment.
Calculating a Numerology Reading
The first step in a numerology reading is to calculate the individual’s “life path number.” This number is determined by adding together all the digits in the person’s birthdate, and then reducing the sum to a single digit (with the exception of the numbers 11 and 22, which are considered “master numbers” and are not reduced further).
For example, someone born on January 1st, 1990 would have a life path number of 1+1+1+1+9+9+0 = 21, which would then be reduced to 2+1 = 3.
Next, the numerologist will examine the individual’s name, and calculate the “expression number,” “heart’s desire number,” and “personality number” using the letters in the name. These numbers are determined by assigning a numerical value to each letter of the alphabet (1-9, with certain letters having a special significance), and then adding the values together. These numbers offer insight into the person’s inner self, their desires and goals, and their outer personality and behavior.
Interpreting a Numerology Reading
Once the numbers have been calculated, a numerologist will interpret the meaning and significance of each number in relation to the individual’s life.
