ChatGPT users can now easily export their chats in Markdown format with the help of the GPT2Markdown extension. The extension is free and can make use of ChatGPT’s automatic labeling function to give files descriptive names. A digital tool like Notion, or a specific folder on an external hard drive, can be used to keep the exported talks safe and accessible. The app’s source code is hosted on GitHub, and it only collects the minimal amount of information necessary to function.
